REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
EVALUATION OF ELECTRICITY TO THE AKIACHAK SCHOOL, YSD DISTRICT OFFICE AND TEACHER HOUSING AREA TO INCLUDE YSD POWERHOUSE. THIS REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, IS TO EVALUATE AND DETERMINE CAUSE OF LOW VOLTAGE, PLAN OF ACTION FOR CORRECTIONS WITH DETAIL DRAWINGS SHOWING ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WITH LOCATION OF ISSUES WITH A TIMELINE AND COST ESTIMATE TO MAKE THE REPAIRS.
AKIACHAK, ALASKA
Yupiit School District is accepting bids for evaluation of electricity.
This project is in remote rural Alaska and is not accessible by road.
The Scope of Work will include the Evaluation of electrical voltage from the community meter box throughout the Akiachak School, YSD District Office, Teacher Housing Area to include the YSD Powerhouse. The scope of work will include the evaluation of all power issues, investigate causes of low voltage, plan of action for corrections of the issues found with detail drawings showing electrical system with location of issues with a timeline for repairs, cost estimate for the repairs to include the labor, purchase of materials, transportation, delivery to Akiachak.
Evaluation of electricity issues and reports to be completed prior to March 31st, 2025.
Yupiit School District will provide lodging and transportation in Akiachak.

Bids will be accepted until 2:00 PM Alaska time on Monday, January 6th, 2025. All bids will be opened on that date. Bid review and notice of award shall occur within 7 days of the bid opening date.
